BLCK CLAY is a small, black-woman owned business run by me, Avila. I started making earrings as a hobby years ago. I’ve always believed jewelry has the power to evoke confidence, but time after time I’d search for the perfect earring to compliment my style and come up short. So I thought, why not just create them myself?! 

Now, as a busy mom of two, I desperately need something that is just for me. After a long hiatus from creating, I took a leap and started BLCK CLAY. Inspired by all things black excellence and creativity, I am adding my drop in the bucket. 

All pieces are handmade by me with love and attention. Each earring is made of light-weight polymer clay, and sure to turn heads wherever you go. I love creating unique designs and color combinations that you wouldn’t expect to see together. It might surprise you, but the combos end up being fire!
